I hear ya Sam. That reminds me of how Chicago is made up, SEGREGATED! I agree we should have integrated neighborhoods but that depends on the attitude of the people. Some to most cases people like living amongst their own i.e. the mexicans here started out integrated (in some neighborhoods) and now is all mexican. Now what does that tell you? Either mexicans like being around mexicans or the other races would rather be with THEIR own.

I certainly would have something to say! As has been said here, None of us native Brits had a say over this nation becoming "multicutural". It's simply been hoisted on us by force by our successive dictatorial governments, especially the Nu-Labour government.

They talk as if "multiculturalism" is some kind of big experiment of theirs, or social engineering as I call it. Well, you know what they can do with their social engineering of my culture and nation? They can stuff it where the sun don't shine! For one, I very much doubt all these cultures will be living in the same neighbourhoods as the government social engineers and their rich cronies, so why do us poor have to have them loaded onto us? I can tell you something, despite government slimy words about welcoming every Tom, Dick and 'arry here, to them they are just cheap labour n****** behing closed doors.

Do you drive those monsters like they showed in the 70's films "Convoy" and "Smokey & the Bandit"? If that's the case you'd find it E-A-S-Y to get work here. You'd have to get a British car driving licence first and then go onto what we call the Large Goods Vehicle C Class (rigids) licence first though, then move onto the LGV C+E Class (tractor trailer). But if you've driven those monster rigs in the US, then getting a car and LGV licence should be a piece of cake!

We normally call them "Pee" for Pence and "Quid" for Pound to the extent that you'd probably get some odd looks by a lot of people if you go round saying "Pounds" and "Pence".

Yes I do and been doing it for over 10 years now over the road and now local. Oh and thanks for the comment on currency. So pound equals US dollar and pence equal US penny. Is that right?
