phil, cannot give you a specific url it crashes on, but if I call up an entry on the database either through a link posted on the forum or through the updates it just crashes, as I say it seems to work ok when I use IE5 as my browser, must be a problem with older versions of AOL, I can browse the EGAFD ok though which is strange.

Yes, congratulations to everyone. The new structure and the additional facilities, such alternative titles and the better information about updates, are a great improvement. Well done.
A suggestion: as well as translations the alternative title field could be used in other circumstances. such as where it's not completely clear what title actually is, such as titles beginning with a possessive. So Tanya Hyde's Hell, Whores & High Heels should also be listed as just Hell, Whores & High Heels. And items listed under a series title could be listed under the individual title, so Anal Away Days Vol. 1: Road Trip To Sussex would also appear as Road Trip To Sussex.
A little gripe: the new colour scheme has abolished the distinction between visited and unvisited links. This is a vital navigational aid for websites, especially on a site like this where users may browse around. If I look up a girl who has done a lot of films, I may follow the links to individual titles. For various reasons I might not do so in alphabetical order, and it is very very useful to be able to see at a glance which I have actually visited. Please bring this back!

We already do that in some instances. As I was working my way through the titles I found some examples and added an alternative. That was as much as I could do in the time, but more will be done this way in due course. It took several days to move information, mainly the year, as it was.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate all the work you put into this.
Any chance of a response from Phil on my final point (below)?

You'll have to bear with me on this for a bit longer I'm afraid. The jury is still out on what's best for this, but it will be up for review.
