Hi,

Dr Sharon Mitchell was a performer that became concerned about the health aspects of not only herself but of all her adult industry peers.

Rather than just moan, groan or drivel about an unfair world, she got off her arse, created a non-profit organisation which could offer a solution, got educated to a professional level on the topic that concerned her and succesfully lobbyed the Californian adult industry to such an extent that AIM STD tests became not just a "nice to have" but an absolute requirement for any reputable porn company.

For someone to call a person who has achieved so much for the porn industry, without any visible form of personal gain, a fraud is someone that I consider as deplorable and who appears to be unable to perceive her achievements from a performer's point of view.


Whilst I agree that AIM (created by Dr S Mitchell) will never be able to guarantee with 100% certainty that I will not contract an STD from a fellow performer, it does provide a system that is able to reduce the risks to a point where it becomes acceptable to a performer.


Deep-sea divers, stuntmen and pornstars all earn way more per hour than most people that sit at a desk. As one of the people in one of these professions, I consider my income as being related to the increased risks my job creates.

The day when I consider the risk to be too high for the return will be the day when I quit. Until that day, I will continue to play the odds.


Feel free to debunk the system, question the financials or challenge the motives but do not dare to question the one and only person in the world that cared a damn about making my job safer.

your mental calling sharon a fraud.I have been in the aim centre quite a few times and i think sharon and her team are very professional.There hasnt been an outbreak for for years and the reason why is aim if sharon wasnt doing her job hundreds of people within the industry would have been infected not just a few performers from each of the past outbreaks

Let's get this clear - no amount of testing will prevent an infection... NONE.

Test monthly, weekly, Daily, 3 times a day - TESTING WILL NOT AND CANNOT PREVENT AN INFECTION.

All testing can do is IDENTIFY... Once identified, action can be taken to PREVENT THAT SOURCE (the person identified) from spreading the infection.

Tomsk - to say that both "outbreaks" have been attributable to AIM is ridiculous in the extreme! AIM haven't CAUSED the outbreak - AIM has CONTAINED the "outbreak" and that is simply all AIM - or any testing outfit - can do.

Tomsk we have had this exagerating thing with you before,,,On the Relish shoot when you told the girls you had an 11inch dick...only after hours of bulling did you admit it was not actually yours it was Omar's.

As someone who is talking/mailing with LA and AVN and the performers they have it under control (in my opinion) I know Sharon and her crew the are dedicated fanatic's. Where she got her degree in this instance matters not. I for example have a media degree I am also approved to G.A.T.S in photography as a photo technition. That helps F..k all when I am shooting a Gonzo. As was my ITC broadcasting RSL licence when editing a DP scene.
Finally I worked on Skynet 4 SPYSAT the one you may recall could read a newspaper headline from space to Russia. Guess what this has not helped me at all with my current Russian soft-core deal.
Sharon's comitment and constant campaining has sometimes upset a few feathers, fanatics tend to do this, she is not in it for the politics.

Now give it all some credit, and I have tracked down the masters we spoke about and they are going onto edit suite this week, call me with format details.

Tomsk - I am in complete and utter agreement - I genuinely feel the right people to manage a health orientated organisation are those with qualifications IN THAT FIELD...

However, figure-heads often don't have qualifications appropriate to the organisation they act as figure-heads for. Providing the persons actually running the show have the qualiifications - that IS ACCEPTABLE.

I do not know the make-up of AIM so cannot say what the position is... if you DO KNOW, then please tell - I am interested to learn the truth which you appear to know?
