To suggest anyone who buys a camera is a film maker is a joke, it makes mockery out of a profession, Digital has helped amatuers produce amatuer movies better thats all. Distributers buy it cheap because its cheap, they then sell it to the public at the sampe price as professionaly produced films,
You are so far off the mark with this theory I feel I need to help you.
Amstrad Vrs Sony.....Whatever happend to them then they produced a range of computers on the wrong system then change again top a different one then changed again and went bust thank got their name has lasted longer than the crap they produced...If they had looked at Sony for example and tried to copy the quality even if it ment a few extra pence, not tell the customer like you are doing its the same, they may well still be around.....Inviting your friends round and filming them fiking is not a movie....There is a huge difference between Pro and Amatuer you are demonstrating it.....others are trying there best to make their gonzo better and make movies,,, you are making a fool of them and yourself....
This is how it works you hang out with the big guys you learn through them then you branch out into your own style...thats how it works,,,Ask the names you mentioned.....What you have to remmeber this is a forum anything you write on here is only words, delivering the goods is where it counts....I could produce good gonzo tomorrow I have and sold it in every civilised country in the world and today I am off to Belgium to meet and hand over sex truck to Russians for Russian distribution. But I can also produce movies that have won awards,,,,,I and many of the other producers on here choose to make better productions because we can.

Phil why the attack ! i did not say Terry's & Marino's work was 'Amstrad' i was talking of my own, you always seem to be on the defence on anything i say which i & a lot of others on this site can't understand. Yes you call yourself a 'big boy' in porn which i'm sure flatters you but the old days are over so face it & grow up.
Who gives a shit whats filmed as long as its legal & the public like it thats all that counts. Read the post again, this time slower, or get someone to explain it for you, take other opinions on board or is it you don't want them. I get on with everyone and I have helped out plenty Pro's and Amatuers, Not all Amatuer produced stuff is shit some of it is real good, so good I buy it, I have never said your stuff is bad so you should be thankfull. The publics opinion is what maters to me thats why I sell so many units I make it just the way they like it, not all but a fair share, Terry & Marino both try their ass of to get the best out of the work they do and they use the same girls as us all professional models only their style is to make them look more like the girl next door.

Why is it JP? I think it's simply just because most of the guys who are fans of films don't see what all the fuss is about with the HIV scare. This of course pisses off the people who are in the films and I include myself here who have been to the states over the past few years and realise this could have happened at any time and it could have been them!

Good observation mate. I have been thinking that maybe this 'forum' should be re-named 'the british producers and performers database' because the normal punter seems to get a lot of stick. Although the HIV scare is a worthy topic even simple requests get a lot of vailed abuse at times and you kind of get the feeling that the 'pros' feel that joe punter is a bit of a pain! Remember - no Joe Punter, no pros!

Personally, I get very irritated when someone pretends he knows exactly what I want to see and what I ought to want to see. In a thread, which was closed rather suddenly, that someone even suggested the HIV outbreak was my fault, because I like to watch double anal. What can I do to make him aware of the fact that I am not interested in double anal, shall never ask for double anal, don't want to buy a film featuring double anal?

Couldn't agree more dutchman...I can't speak for what others like but I know for damn certain that as I produce and star in the stuff on my site, I'm not going to have any double anal on it. Why...because as a punter I know I don't like to see it, I want to see the girls actually ENJOYING themselves and I suspect that most normal guys are like me in that respect!
