The Sport replies.

I take your point, and no, it is not hardcore in the sense us savvy chaps consider it.

But it is my job to market this content to the best of my ability and I think it is valid to say "see Teresa have sex" when talking about "teresa Takes 10".

Was it not her intention to make it appear that she was actually havi g sex when she made the video? Of course it was. Now she is trying to take the moral highground by saying that we are wrong to say hardcore. Big cheeky that, IMHO.

The Jo Guest pix are centered around the one which we consider to be porn..where a penis is actually in her mouth although lips are not closed around it.

To the average man in the street this and the teresa stuff is porn. No question about that. And that is our market.

If we ever thought we could promote on here and not get laughed off we would. But we kn0w you guys know what you are talking about so we content ourselves by just following discussions and occasionally posting.

Yes spinatra I know it is your job to market, I understand that but your adverts say hardcore. Unrestricted xxx , no cuts, uncensored. Thats not marketing.
You even do it now with Jo Guest.

Can't see where the problem is.
As I said, to the man in the street, it is hardcore porn.
And it is uncut and uncensored...exactly as it was filmed.

I don't want get into a war of semantics with you but if it's not
marketing, then what is it?

and please don't say false advertising and start taking pot-shots at my boss. I'm happy to debate this with you but insults and cliches about alien and buses on the moon don't really get us anywhere.

As I said in another post...you guys are porn-savvy and not our target market...that's why we don't insult you and waste our time posting plugs here .

We are all 'man in the street'. I think pretty much everybody knows the difference now. I could be guessing on this, but Theresa's 'hardcore', sorry Theresa's 'Daily Sport hardcore' is most 17 year old schoolboys first porno vid. And going on the quality of what he expected, probably his last. Which isn't good for the industry if that's what he feels he can expect.

It is hardcore, filthy as it gets, but only if you're 100% blind.....

Bit like saying a Ford Escort will Mach 2, but without including taking acid and rolling the car down a fucking mountain....

I wonder how many men on the street would buy these types of videos if you mentioned it was all simulated and no real penetration takes place?

I've nothing against softcore or even simulated hardcore as long as its clearly stated on the Box Cover not this 18 & R18 baloney which most don't have a clue about

cheers

spinatra : You are insulting the intelligence of "the man on the street" you were advertising Teresa's hardcore uncut and people were coming into HMV and buying it over the counter. Do you think these people were so thick that they thought either it was a different version or that HMV were selling illegal porn? Who do you think they believed and trusted, HMV or The Daily Sport ?
We won't even go into how annoyed Teresa was with the whole thing and how annoyed Jo Guest must be. And Kirsten Imrie and Jennai and all the other models you are "marketing"
Marketing is making the most of the product you have, what you are doing and I am trying so hard not to call it "false advertising" but I cant think of what else to call it. The stories about aliens and the face of jesus on a side of a cow are fun. If people decide to believe it, fine, if they decide to laugh then all the better, no harm done. When you use a great models name the way you did with Teresa, its just plain wrong. You even covered up the "18" certificate on the photos of the cover in your adverts. Yet another attempt to fool your "Man in the street"

Get off your high horse, Neil. We are not insulting anybody's intelligence. And we have no interest in anyone going into HMV to buy a title because we have no financial gain from that..sorry..but this is the reality of the business.

It's all about making money. From Jenna Jameson to Jodie Marsh and all points in between. It's pointless arguing otherwise. It's just a fact.
If you don't want a product don't buy it.

And please don't talk about how upset Teresa was about it. She was not forced to take part in this shoot..or any other.
When she shot this "fake" sex movie, do you think she would expect it to be promoted as "Teresa May pretends to have sex but there's no penetration and very few full-frontal shots even"
Of course she didn't. If the wool was going to be pulled over peoples' eyes then she ws fully complicit.

At the time we spoke to her and she happily described how turned on she was and how he felt inside her...she was selling the product just like we were.

Teresa May has made a great living from this business and her profile is due to a large extent to the Sport. She can say what she wants about us but we are always positive about her because we know how popular she still is.

There are rules about what we can and cannot say about a product. We do not lie. We accentuate the positive.

Another poster described himself and members of BGAFG as "men in the street". I would beg to differ. Membership of this forum makes each and every one of you a lot more savvy about the adult industry and market than the average joe.

Like I said in an earlier post I am happy to debate this but I think I have said all I can say now on the matter. I hope some of you understand what I am trying to say.

Hurrah for that man!...it starts with a simple enquiry from Terry and de-generates into a slanging match, Time Gentlemen Please!
