Yes, that is interesting. I've been told of a couple of girls who did a lot of work and then chose to go to university and there is a large part of me that wonders; what happens if someone recognises you? How would you feel? How would you respond? How would you be treated?

It's a pretty unexplored area, I guess - the aftermath.

The, relatively few, porn actresses that I find attractive tend to fall into the "nice" category, i.e. probably not the type that you'd expect to be doing porn in the first place. There's a girl below - which is why I ventured onto this forum - called Laura Biggs who seems to be one of these worked-in-hardcore-for-a-little-while-and-then-bolted types; curious as to what her experience of the industry was.

Regardless of whether porn is an old, old industry, there is something about having sex for money in front of a camera which is a difficult thing to do and come to terms with afterwards, and which does still carry a fairly large stigma. Another curious thing is why so many girls seem to happy to do hardcore girl/girl scenes and not boy/girl - the pornstar Nadia (who has left porn to go to university) said in an interview that having sex with a male takes something away from her. (one for the phycologists, that one)
