Have you been on the forum ? No posts promoting sites won't be removed. Unless the link takes the surfer to an obvious porn link. The only reason for that is that Proboards don't allow porn. Besides BGAFD is THE place for the adult industry. My board is mainly for the guys who view my site to be able to chat to the models who appear on my site. As many have so far, for a fan to be able to contact Kelly Bell directly is rather nice for him. Thats the main reason for my board , but links to models sites are welcome.

And as for me making money from my site, what a crime!! Also the only money I make is from the affiliate programs which basically only covers the cost of hosting the site. Also if I was trying to make money wouldn't my only link in my signature be to take people to my actual site ?

As woodgnome has told us you have been in the industry for 20 years you would know that hosting websites isn't free!

All you are trying to do is stir up trouble with your posts and frankly its nice for you that you have the time to do this.

I fail to see how you can call these people spammers. Maybe you are looking in the wrong place for your adult needs.

I'm sure you're just having a laugh winding people up though. I know that from my experiences elsewhere.

hey wax,

Maybe others are busy wanking ;)

Why do you seem to have a problem with people making money by promoting their material?

If the said people removed they URL's etc. Then they would have to keep adding them to post in the promotions forum. Seems stupid to me.

But my sig doesnt take you to where the banners are that gets me money? My sig takes you to the forum, none of the banners there are part of an affiliate program. They are there because the models have either joined my forum, or in JFT's case helped me when my site got started.
I would put Joe's banners on but Proboards would have a fit !!!

Wax..

Those who support you are most likely consumers and therefore have no need of a sig... Did you think of that ?

I asked you if you were a consumer or in the biz a lot higher up in this thread. You haven't answered that question.. Well which one are you ???

Most conumers seem happy with the way BGAFD is run as it helps them find what they're looking for. Maybe you're a disgruntled webmaster/photographer/producer who's been barred and so cannot add a sig for fear of being banned again :)

Personally I ignore signatures, you see them so often they just become sort of invisible. They don't particularly bother me, along with all the new models who post seeking work - then it transpires they've already worked with most of the regular producers/photographers, so what did they post for - plus they only bother replying to known names. It's just the way it is.

I think to call them spammers may be going to far but wax is right that there is no need for them to keep putting a link to every post they make.

Whenever I see a post with a clickable link I tend to think here we go again someone else who needs viewers but hasn't got a clue how to get them.

These are forums true enough but why oh why do these wanabe producers/photographers/porn merchants need to keep telling us that they have a company or web site. Its as if they feel the need to prove who they are and that what they are posting is true because xyz.

I agree with you Wax.

BUT (at the end of the day) the rules are set by the site owners. And if they allow spamvertorial items on here, then that's that.
