Agreed. But a lot of people have had trouble when ordering vids aswell (see Dons post above). I can understand DVDs being out of stock but not videos.

Yes they may own the official rights to these but I bet they do not come in original packaging as they would if they were from the producers. These titles are posted in the uk so they will be copies on plain cassettes just like you get from your choice. These titles are not certificated and therefor can not be legally sold here so shipping in vast numbers of originals to be held before posting out to customers would be too risky because of customs. This is why they simply send a master to the UK agent who does the duping on old vcrs rigged up in his or her garage/spare bedroom/garden shed.

The Titles I mentioned come as an Origional,with a case ( or at least the ones I ordered did, they are not the only ones selling R18 with boxes do it too, they sell some of the same Evil Angel titles.On your argument the DVDs would be copies too, becuase they send them from within the UK, and I am sure these days they sell more video than dvd. so they have to hold stock, clearly not enough judging by the problems people have had.The titles are certificated. If they sell a title from Harmony who are in the uk, I assume they don't leave the UK or they send them back in.Don't forget it is legal for them to ship R18 titles into the UK. They are based in Amsterdam so they can send it by the box load and it won't be stopped. That's why the UK laws are so stupid.

Yes thats right if its r18 they can move them about in bulk and they will be originals. I thought you were talking about uncertifacated films. Its still illegal to supply r18 by mail order but thats ok because they are based in Holland and as you say the tapes do not leave the UK or if they do then they can say they are importing them for sale in sex shops. Obviously whoever sends them out in the post in the uk is breaking the law but I doubt the authorities really care about that as long as its been through the bbfc.
I was suprised to read in an interview with Patricia of Your Choice in Knave Video that in about 1995 a huge police operation was launched against YC`s UK agents resulting in prison for some. Unbeleivable considering YC do not carry any very extreme stuff. Meanwhile the companies selling rape, torture and animal vids get no hassle. I expect they were targeted because of their high profile. Crazy country we live in. Sorry I am starting to drift off on a tangent.
