Now the magazine side of the business is dead, or nearly dead, girls have a lot less solo girl work available. So their choices are different.

For a very good looking girl there is still a lot of solo work, sadly few girls are very good looking. So they don't have that option.

Up to about 10 years ago few girls had ever had sex with a girl. Today it seems a lot more are turning up to castings with some experience with their girlfriends. Either all the way or part of the way there. There are few who will not do GG.

For shooters, sales of solo and GG are linked to the skills of the shooter and the quality of the models. So again less options.

The big demand is for hardcore BG.

All this needs to be explained to a new girl when she turns up for her first castings. Tell her what you do and judging her on her looks what kind of work she's likely to be offered.

Then the girl is best able to decide if she wants to come into the business. In todays market of the Internet I fully understand why she does not want videos of her fucking some guy or guys. The rebound can be very bad for her. Plus the STDs factor.

The answer has always been, if you pay top dollar you get to shoot them first. If you don't you're down the line and a lot of girls drop out.

Really Paul, I dont think a lot of girls know a lot about this unless they are rolling with experienced girls they can learn from.

Girls did not know a lot about this industry industry in 1977 and I doubt if they know a lot about it now. It's up to the shooters to honestly tell them what their prospects are.

I doubt if telling a new girl who has little chance of solo or GG work that she will make a fortune doing BG when she clearly won't will persuade many to do it. Plus who wants to shoot those girls anyway.

Some shoot girls who clearly are not up to it. In looks, character or attitude. I always refused to work with them or sent them home early.

The biggest difference between what I did and many others do is. I had to sell what I was shooting to an editor or site owners and if it was not good enough I lost money.

Today many shoot for themselves or to fill orders already placed and content has become very much "filler" to a site.

I had an anonymous e-mail which I think was in response to make comments here which said "if you don't like the industry get out!"

Just to clarify I never indicated that I have a personally have a problem with the industry as I don't even do boy girl! For one I only do things on camera I enjoy (and my motto has always been - try everything once! If you don't try it how do you know if you will enjoy it or not!)

The reason I don't do boy girl is out of respect for my partner and because he and I have plans to make our own bbg/ggb movies in the future! I don't want to look back at a scene in 15 years to see myself being treated like a piece of crap on camera. I'd much rather wait until the time is right and make my own hot scenes where I'm clearly loving every minute of it!

My comments were simply pointing out some of the down sides that could put new girls off.

How much you pay doesnt always mean sexy Dave. Even stunning girls can look dead facially

I know of some girls getting paid very handsomely but not delivering any more heat than they would if they were paid less than the going rate
