There was actually internet rumours that Cage was gonna play Superman. He is a big superman fan (he even named his son Kal-El after Superman) and has said in alot of interviews it would be his dream role. Thankfully he wasnt cast as Superman though.
There was also rumours of talks about a Justice League movie which I really hope happens.

Yeah that was the it. Kevin Smith was writting it, they got Tim Burton to direct and he wanted Cage to star in it. And Jon Peters wanted no costume because it looks gay, no flying, a huge spider and Chewie.

BGAFD is turning into Millarworld here?
DC is well behind Marvel in getting movies going. The 'Justice League' movie got very close to production, but no-one seemed able to pull the trigger.
'Green Lantern' is their focus at the moment, JL isn't (officially) a priority at DC;

And now the actor who would've been 'Batman' in it...

...might be 'Superman'. Armie Hammer is popping up on the list of possible Kryptonians for Snyder/Nolan.

Why?
No-one else in comics fandom does? !wink!
The costume pics are photoshop/concept art, the damn thing is designed to move and
change. I want to see a trailer. [img]

I`m still waiting for Lobo movie. Only saving grace there is that Guy Ritchie is no longer directing

thank fuck for that! I was gutted when I heard he was directing. I love Lobo. I hope they have dropped the idea of making it a PG13 movie too

I'm surprise Guillermo del Toro isn't attached to a 'Lobo' film, he seems to be attached to everything else (except 'THe Hobbit' thankfully).
But it's not just movies for DC, right now the plan is for 'Wonder Woman' to return to TV;

Honestly, I've no idea what it'll be like? Hopefully good? !smile!
