Your projects sound interesting and now that you have explained I hope we see things change for the better with a market where everyone can compete fairly and the scam merchants are pushed out. More sex shops opening (not Private but other non DS outfits). DS could do with some healthy competition to keep him on his best behaviour.
I would like to see Marino do well with his own series but as he has said its not been easy for him turning producer.

As for British porn being of a poor production standard whos to say.
If its such poor quality why is it still selling einstein.

I take you point phil and I agree with what you say. I also agree with buttsie about poor quality, I suppose I mean technical usage and construction. But POrn is porn and if someone is getting fucked all the better. I guess it comes down to no fixed shots, limited dialogue, poor lighting and or sound, inexperience post-production and overall dodgyness. But as you say, if you want that watch the american shit. UK porn is unique, probably because it has been underground so long, and without the likes of Ben/Phil it probably would still be so. I may have also had my fill of editing these things and looking at countless hours of (with respect) people not getting their lines right etc. But when I've had non-porn friends come in and see the edit, they only want to see the rushes and forgoe the main cut. So it's a punters market!
BTW, did anyone read that a man successfully sued a chat room guest for slander/libel because of the 'unsubstantiated' comments about him? He won ?5000.00. We have been harsh on DS and should perhaps start putting legal discalimers in like ...allegedly....in my opinion...etc. Wouldn't want to anyone getting done by the law, because of (in my opinion) tightfisted, con merchants like DS.

I had thought of the libel angle Dunk Star. But as everything thats been said about him is TRUE he has no chance of sueing. Just show the judge and jury some of the lies told in his adverts and catalogues and he would be laughed out of court.
A liar and a con man cant sue someone for saying that he is a liar and a conman. He would also have to prove his reputation had been damaged by the remarks .....hilarious eh?
