she was in the upper hand,she looks younger now when she was in the avengers,saw her in a short film about a model that gets murdered for a insurance scam,the twist is the wrong woman gets killed.

A bit of serious now.
Has any body seen or got a film called THE HARD WAY?
It was made around 1977 by ITC who made Man From U.N.C.L.E. and so much more in 60s and 70s inclusing The Prisoner I think. I'm pretty sure it was a TV only film.
It starred Partick McGoohan and Lee Van Cleef. McGoohan as a retired hitam if I remember rightly, who is forced to come out of retirement and do 1 last job.
I think it was filmed in Ireland, and I can vaguely remember scenes of McGoohan driving round in an Austin Princess wedge and various shootouts, and Irish bars full of drunks.
It comes to a climax in an old mansion where Van Cleef uses an ingenious technique of switching on all the lights, then removing the fuses. He then puts the fuses back and takes them out again in sequence, to make it look to McGoohan that he is walking into various rooms around the house, and of course McGoohan shooting from outside is firing at all the wrong windows.
I wont tell you how it ends but its a damn good film from what I remember and pretty dark too.
I'd love to get hold of it on video, so if anyone has it please be in touch, I'm prepared to pay a bit for it.
