Re: Eastenders!
Acting ability? well they BOTH have an oscar and both been in oscar winning films, both played nutters but I would nod towards Pesci..........just. I especially liked him as Jake LaMotta's brother in Raging Bull. Still, Kingsley has trod the boards, unlike Pesci so its a close one this, Magoo.

Re: Eastenders!
The opening title sequence, walking beside the open door of the slowly moving car in the pouring rain, jumping onto the bonnet .... ah memories

Re: Eastenders!
Well Ace you truly are a film buff. I never knew that.
What do you reckon to Kingsley in Sexy Beast?
And seeing how you mentioned Sam L Jackson. Pulp Fiction was probably Tarrantinos best work. Sam knocked spots of the rest of the cast. Loved his Biblical speach.......You could almost smell him and his oily hair his performance was so good.
Is it just me or was Res Dogs a pile of shite?

I liked the stereotype pimp, Huggy Bear, AS IF you are EVER likely to meet a 'nice' pimp ANYWHERE that is only out to help the police........yeah, right!! Even the 'streetgals' gave the impression that kerb crawling or prostitution was glamorous. I also liked the Police Captain, Doobey who always seemed on the edge of a cardiac arrest.

Re: Eastenders!
Both are flawed with mistakes, especially Pulp Fiction, but its still a great film. I took time out years ago to copy this in the 'correct' order and the story was crap. Res Dogs had all the hype, but I liked Michael Madson as Mr Blond doing his dance. Here's one for you, at the end, who shot Nice Guy Eddie? Mr Pink didnt, Mr Orange was comatosed, Mr White shot The Boss, but who did Eddie?

Re: Eastenders!
It must be awfull spending six weeks with no TV, DVD or computer. But at least Claire Sweeney came out to "entertain" you. A fate worse than gas IMHO. Thats why I opted to join civvy life at a young age. All that beasting and hikes across Dartmoor. Its just no good. Much prefer to sit discussing TV and films with people than to be up to me waste in mud in a bog on a german training camp. Or sand as in your case. Mud is easier to remove from your bell-end than sand so avoid desert training and opt for germany or dartmoor if possible. Even better is Norway.

Re: Eastenders!
And more to the point Huggy Bear would have been killed for "grassing" very quickly indeed. I am sure the local criminals would have worked out he was a "wrong 'un" when two "honkies" kept pulling up each week to talk to him. These conversations being closely followed by arrests of Huggy Bears "bros". If I had been a criminal in Huggys "hood" I would have been very suspicious of his acquiantence with two white detectives in a flash car. For surely this means he is a grass.
And if I were so inclined I might have even "popped a cap in his ass" for his treacherous snitching activities.
PS The blackisms were meant in an ironic seventies sense before anyone points out that I am using racist language by saying "bros" and "honkies".
