I've got a horrible feeling that Stuart Fucking Maconie will pop up on this thread very shortly - he's offered his tiresome opinions on every other 'I love the 60s/70s/80s/last week/yesterday? tv programme. Space hoppers? etc etc etc.

LOL yeah I agree TSB, but I think the very reason these programmes are sucessful is the fact that people look at the past through rose tinted spectacles, in reality most of the things mentioned are either pretty grim or downright disgusting by modern standards.
But nostalgia is good for the soul.

well,it was the best year for me although 73 wasnt bad either i met this girl called wendy,another time perhaps.

was also the year deptment s,randall and hopkirk started what with that and potp on a sunday and sue young i was in heaven.
