It was just of the time, Ace. Comedies like it were not unusual back then but for change of surroundings. I liked most of them back then, Mind Your Language, Please Sir etc but they were all accused of being racist or sexist down the years. What bolocks that is and any truth there was was 'reverse sexism' or 'reverse racism' but they were so blind to see it. The BBFC ran supreme too and we couldn't watch pornos. Always thought that the likes of US were the ones beng discriminated against!

Both were utter drivel, but then so much so-called sit-com was, many being vehicles for long-estabished actor/comedians. perhaps there is some sort of equation that means for every Fawlty Towers, we have to endure X number of 'On the Buses'

That adult Channel series, Capital Ride + Randy and Stan Ride Again - isn't that ment to be a spoof of On The Buses. Randolph File (Randy) & Mark Mathews (Stan) kind of remind you of the 2 blokes from On The Buses.

If I went up to a girl on a bus with a camera & asked her to show her tits I'll more than likely be told where to put it. Guess it's called "Artistic License"

The lucky buggers the got to poke Majella, she was dressed in a wedding outfit, MMMMMMM MMMMM very nice!!
Yep they certainly have the Artstic License all right. I think we would get arrested If we tried any thing like that & having the camera taken off you would be even worse.
