In my rant, perhaps I could have clarified my position.
I fully support genuine cases of asylum, but with recent events of the last couple of years, I've been worried.
We all know how people slip through the net and vanish and take up new id's.
The thing that worries me is that no checks are being made on people that come from war torn areas.
How many war criminals are slipping through the net? How many Taliban extremists? How many etc...
The UK was never an intended target until Blair became a total sycophant to the US.
All this bollocks about how we are "that" close to being bombed was bullshit.
As reports from extremist organisations said "We don't give a shit about the UK. The UK is a lapdog."

Even now, I'm not so sure about the UK being a target. But by allowing anyone in without even a check, well that's just dumb!

I like these tangent topics suchas the sci-fi and road movie ones Theres been a couple of films mentioned that I intend to look up after they had been posted, films I'd probably never had heard of otherwise.
