lol i can safely assume ur tlaking to me. no i wasnt breathing back then but i wasnt breathing for most of history and i still kno why we had two world wars in the 20th century...and how the ancient romans changed life etc etc and all that other bullshit i dont need to bore /list....but the point i was making was that rock culminated into a peak in c.1991 where the guitar became perfect and not necessarily in a wankery solo way but in song writing. yes i kno the yards i kno how the lovely paige borrowed er dazed and confused and generally ripped them to shits and yeh i kno my guitarists ta....but technical skill to me doesnt rate over originality...never has never will....ne damn good guitarist can work their way up and up but if u invent sub genres or entire genres...wel thats a whole dif issue

ya those are the old guys, sure. but from perspective of musician complexity is def not always the "Hardest to write.." for a simple analogy just look at Nirvana...shouldntve taken nearly 40 years of pop music for those songs to work, and i guarantee noone else woulda/coulda written them..............high hopes on division bell rocks tho:P
