As soon as I heard GB I thought of Pop Music.

As I recall, there were several people claimed that Ghostbusters was a rip-off of their stuff (?a court case also), but whatisname who is M said not a word on the matter.

You're perhaps thinking of the Ray Parker Jr/Huey Lewis court case. The Ghostbusters/I Want A New Drug similarities put all others to shame.

Not sure about New Order/Bee gees, Steve - different tempo, surely. New Order were, however, sued by John Denver because Run2 from Technique sounds just a little like Leaving on a Jetplane.
