And the scouser can take the stereo out of your car!
But as for Macca. Hes a pain in the arse and its painfull to see him using words like "cool" and "groovy" and making the mistake of thinking hes hip and down with the young people.

Did anyone ever see him at the MTV awards a few years back?
What an arrogant slag. Standing around and trying to be all "Yeah I'm down with the kids and they all really love me".
Bastard. Don't you know real applause from a patronising "Oh well we may as well clap for 50% of the remaing Beatles" clap, you slag?.
And the whole presenting his daughter with an award.
Who cares?
Sorry. I'm going to that bad place again.
David Baddiel is ok
Chris Evans is ok

4 magic words in the wrong order will sort you all out.
Die. Live. Let. And.
Rearrange them and you'll all know Paul's purpose in life, his sole reason for being on the planet, was to write a Bond theme.
When you gotta job to do,
you gotta do it well.
You gotta give the other fella hell.
Amen.

OK Live & Let Die & Band on the Run are good tracks.
Nobody is disputing his ability to write a track...it's the man that creates the bitch.

Michael Jackson bought a big chunk of the Beatles back catalogue in 1985 (?). He even wanted to use 'All You Need is Love' in a Coca Cola advert, but was somehow prevented from doing so. Macca never needed the money and the songs should have been put in a trust after all the surviving members of the band had passed on so that aspiring artists could get some support.

No I also dispute his ability to write a track, a handful of memorable things over 30 years isn't very good at all. However my main gripe is with the man.
I read earlier this year that he wanted to reverse the Lennon/Mc Cartney credits on a lot of old songs to show which ones were 'his' songs. This is a clear sign that somebody has lost the plot for real. It's also true that Lennon wrote a lot of crap in the 1970s when he should have really stopped and done something else even if it wasn't commercial or even music. Macca has gone on and on and on.. There seems to be something in this country which commends doing something for 30 years, making money at being a household name and then you get a knighthood. They weren't performing a public service but doing what they wanted to do anyway. Why has Mick Jagger got a knighthood for example? Returning to Lennon the
http://www.bagism.com is interesting for it's record reviews written by members of the public which are either very good or very damning, but I do think that most of the Lennon solo catalogue was boring rubbish and if you look at photos of him in the 70s he just looks burnt out, bankrupt really.
If you watch the film 'Imagine' he comes across as very arrogant and actually very very unpleasant. Look at the scene where they are recording 'Oh Yoko', very unpleasant, not much peace and love there is there.

For many years now Paul McCartney has been making highly-regarded experimental/club tracks under the alias The Fireman.

And it all started when he produced Urban Spaceman for the Bonzo Dog Band in 1968 as Apollo C. Vermouth.
