It was " beciause I was in a club full of people laughing their heads off, mee being the worse for wear for drink" and not " or if he really was funny." believe me...................groan.

One for Hall
Not my cup of tea personally, but he hardly warrants 'twat'. And it's good to see a comedian who doesn't seem to have the requisite smug, sneering demeanor of so many these days. Some of them - Skinner, for instance - give the impression of having a genuine streak of seething nastiness just under the surface which makes their popularity all the more worrying, as does their tendency to press certain auto-emotive buttons to gain audience sympathy ("when my parents were alive..." and so forth).
If it's 'twat' you want who the hell was that careerist sack of 'oh so superior' shit who presented the 100 scariest moments?

How dare you?
Her appearances on the Beeb2 lunchtime political prog are a riot of wit and
hilarity.
Oh- sorry, I was thinking of Andrew Neil's haircut.

TV Burp is awful, but I liked his first series. It beat the Hell out of 'As Time Goes By'.........(now THAT's sarcasm*].
I hate Norton and all his works.
[*And you need to work on that sarcasm a bit- or find a target who's more thin-skinned.

Re: Harry Hill - great
I happen to think Harry Hill is a very funny and original comedian.
I have seen him live once, and I have a video of him live at the
Palladium.
He does not just tell 'one off' jokes, what makes him unique is
the long running theme jokes he has in his live shows...which
is why seeing only a few minutes on video does not do him
justice.
He often has a number of different jokes going on at a time, and
will leave them, then come back to them, as his act progresses.
This makes watching him live interesting, because he has a number
of jokes interweaving as his act progresses.
For example in the live video he has a long running joke about people
who cut keys, and why they also repair shoes, and also sell sports
trophies.
He returns to the idea every so often, and without warning will take
the joke a bit further.
In the same show he also has a long running joke about his mother
mixing up the phone and the hair dryer...she always has wet hair
and chapped lips.
Again he returns to the same theme....how she mixes up chapstick
and pritstick....she said to me 'mmmmmmmm' (mouth stuck together).
In the same show he says how it would be a good idea if dogs only
ate food that rhymed with their name...labrador...lobster thermador.
He then says no other dogs have food that rhyme with their name
(and of course we all start thinking).
Then fifteen minutes later, without warning, he says another dog
poodle..apple strudel, and it takes you a few minutes to think
what he talking about.
Then fifteen minutes later he says another, and so on.
He also has the running joke about Joseph and his amazing
technocolor dreamcoat. All about a man who loses his coat...
all set to music.
"When did you last have it"...."in the disco last night"...."well
ring them up and see if they have it"..."yes I will do that later"
....all set to music..wonderful.
All these 'part jokes' are interweaving all through his act, making
it interesting and I think very funny.
And two final simple jokes from Harry Hill.
I did some DIY on my flat recently....I put in a sunken glass
bottomed bath. I think it looks great...but the people in the
flat below are not too impressed.
And these cancer research shops, all they seem to have is old
people selling second hand clothes...no wonder they never find
a cure for cancer.
