...Not.
I remember an old episode of Mork & Mindy as a kid and there was some old fart called Mr Wanker in it.
Wanchor.
Whatever, hearing Mindy say wanker was enough for me.
I didn't get out much and she was a fox of the highest order.
Right....

So the wanker would have been Mork in disguise

I don't lie about me birthday
Maybe the year but not the day...lol
Not sure how Napoleon being born on the same day was a good omen
The Crocodile Dundee series was just a novel experience
Even the first one if you watch it over and over greats on the nerves
Typical Australian film making-predictably amateurish acting
As for sequels...they have their moments but by then the interest is waning
cheers

My Aunt's an Aussie so I was introduced to Oz from an early age.
Lucky woman lives over at Surfers Paradise.
I can only dream.
Got me into INXS in 1979/80 with some ultra rare bootleg stuff.
Have to fess up to loving Young Einstein and Yahoo Serious' oddness.
Aah the days of The Models, The Lime Spiders & Icehouse seem like only yesterday.
Big shit kicked off with the Aboriginies and cops in Syd last night right?

Re: o/t Re: Right....
The aboriginal problem isn't anything new
Redfern has been a blackspot in Sydney for ages
Of course the cops deny everything saying they just happened to be in the vicinity in relation to an old lady that was attacked and beaten senseless
I feel sorry for the 17 year old kid that impaled himself on a metal fence
but you got to ask...why was he fleeing in such a dangerous manner from the cops for it to happen
The bottom line is the aboriginals have to help themselves like the blacks have in America.Get of Welfare, ban alcohol and get some self esteem back. The 18 welfare organisations that are in and around Redfern haven't stopped the petty crimes, self abuse & domestic violence that is rife
We Whites caused most of the problems by creating the 'stolen generation' but unfortunately throwing money at the problem isn't going to solve it
Can't say I've ever ventured up North to Queensland...hate the humidity
not to mention the mosquitos and the fact that the alternative name for Queensland is Japanese Monopoly
Used to listen to the Models & Icehouse...exetremely unusual songs compared to your usual pop music...haven't heard the Lime Spiders ever
Rare Bootleg INXS....what was on it?
Stay Young,We are the Vegetables,Just Keep Walking
Think their earlier stuff is the best before commercialdom took over. Not that albums like Shabooh Shoobah & The Swing weren't bad but they'd lost that inital sound somewhere.I stopped buying their albumbs afetr The Swing
Didn't have to wait long before the best of & best of live came out.Got to love those record companies
cheers

Re: o/t Re: Right....
The old stuff was a cross between punk & New Romantic.
I like all of their stuff to be honest but Welcome To Wherever You Are is by far one of the best pieces.
Shame it was just a studio album that never made it as a tour.
As for the Bootleg, it had Here Comes & Here Comes II (Alternate version)
also had a few things that ended up on Dekadance in one for or another.
She had a couple of tapes from gigs in small venues they had done.
Had I been as into them then, as I am now, I would have snapped her arms off for them.
Alas, to the ravages of time, do tapes go.
I do have Dekadance though which is some small consolation.
Just Keep Walking was on the first album. Where are the other 2 from?
It also had alternate version (one or 2 verses) of Jumping and In Vain

Re: o/t Re: Right....
Here Comes is from Shabooh Shoobah
The alternate version I'm guessing was a live thing and not recorded
didn't realise they'd put out so many
I actually stopped buying after Listen Like Thieves
cheers
