Let's just say that an awful lot of greedy bastards thought all their Christmases had come at once, and there was no structure in place to prevent them shoving their noses in the trough.

They'll probably be working on the US Embassy in Iraq next
Made to accomodate 1000 personnel
Seems a little bit extreme

It's not a diplomatic posting I'd care for.

I bet they don't step outside the embassy
Can just picture morning tea for a 1000 staff
Wouldn't surprise me if at the Embassies heart is a Mall complete with all the comforts of home..McDonalds...Wall Mart....Nine Hole Golf Course etc etc etc
cheers

I see, one day in, and its broken already. Flooded by the deluge of rain we had.
The media blamed the British weather, but methinks they got a cowboy firm of plumers in who didn't count on back siphonage

Does this imply that they spent ?7m and did not provide a storm drain . Really this country no f thing works , and it all cost a fortune !
I just wish it had backed up when her royal sourface was there saying how she really loved Diana , and the Royal party had got sprayed .
I dont see how it cost that much anyway, I would have done it working weekends for 10 grand esp without fitting a storm drain .
