It's a shame on the delicate sound video for CN, the guitar solo is edited, why? the video should have been longer, some fantastic unreleased pro shot footage is still out there, from the Omni, atlanta 5/11/87, even rehersal footage featuring Echoes!, the CN from the televised Venice concert from '89 is awesome as well, perfect TV broadcast copies out there of this legendary gig, not of the mess that was left afterwards tho!

Knopfler & Gilmour are the reasons why I bought a Fender.
The solo at the end of Sultans of Swing may not be as emotionally charged as CN, but it is played with pure heart and no need for scale wizardry.
It was after watching the video for SoS on VH1 that I went out and bought my guitar.

Anyone that calls it an Axe should be shot in the face.

The closest you'll get to my Fender is when I run over you next time I see you outside Benji's.

They are 3 SEPERATE guitars Stevie
Martin acoustic guitars (Prior to 1980's) are probably the best acoustic guitars in the world before Ovation took the title.
Gibson ARE the best but I have a Fender Telecaster, and that, for me, is the best

I think it's down to taste personally.
The best has to be Encore....naah I'm just kidding.
Fender all the way.

Encore are a nice semi-acoustic starter guitar, but avoid at ALL costs those shitty Squire by Fender in catalogues. My BOSS flanger costs more than one of those shitty things. As soon as you have tuned it, the top E is out of tune. TOTAL crap

Totally agree with you on that dude.
I keep my Squire tuned to open E and use it now and then.
It's not bad and as it was my first ever guitar, I still have a soft spot for it along with it's old Zoom 505 fx pedal.
