.......funnily enough, I thinned out my (non-porn) book collection a few years back, so can be fairly brutal if necessary....all the s/c mags went straight in the bin (how I wished I could have passed them on to a worthy cause...).

I doubt it: there was a doc a while back about the BL's Restricted Shelves and its gargantuan porn collection.
BTW, no Granny is safe where I live...........

And me.
Which is why later this year I'm gonna stuff the mass porn-buying and buy a Jag or a Beemer.
Then take it to Paris and buy a load more..........

As I recently told JJ I find that I am watching less and less porn but I still keep buying it because of the collecting/anorak side to this hobby. And it is a hobby just like any collection wether it be postage stamps, records, books or toy trains. People with no interest in porn assume its only for masturbation but how wrong they are. I actually enjoy learning more about the industry and its stars.

My collection was getting too big so I got rid of nearly all the non brit stuff. I know I am obbsessive because I find I must have the full set of certain series or everything with a certain girl in it etc.

My collection has grown so much that its not even catalogued at the moment and there are tapes stacked everywhere. Finding a particular tape is hard work and takes ages. I will get round to organising it one of these days.

Dunno if someone has already suggested this, but if you buy a lot of tapes it is worth investing in a cheap second VCR and a scart cable so you can copy tapes. That way you can copy the highlights you really want to keep, and bin the original tape or trade it back as part-exchange (which saves ?10 on the purchase price at the usual Soho places). You can probably get the highlights of at least 4 vids on one 4-hour tape. Provided the original picture quality is reasonable, you can hardly tell it is a copy. And you won't have to fast-forward through any boring or disgusting bits!
