WHY NOT....

Do what I do - I don't want cars damaging (been there. done that, got the t-shirt) so for many years now, I simply park at t'other end of the car park, preferably in a corner (when only one side of the car is exposed to the masses). Yes, I might have to walk a little further, but, so what?
Defensive parking has probably saved me many trips to the bodyshop.

No need for that as I do all my shopping each day under the power of my own feet
Amazing how much produce I don't throw out because I shop daily as opposed to Weekly
I'd love to know what is being done to fresh produce that makes it start decaying after 3/4 days even when stored properly
cheers

I buy more food than I can eat, basically because it's so cheap and with all the 2-for-1 / half price offers you can fill the freezer. Then never eat it and eventually throw it away. It's a lot easier to do daily shopping in countries like Holland where you can usually find a supermarket within walking distance and not in the middle of nowhere - although Dutch supermarkets have nowhere near the amount of choice we have, especially pre-prepared food for oven/microwave, as there is more emphasis on cook it yourself. Shopping daily would be a good idea if they designed housing complexes as self contained villages, where you don't have to travel to shop.

I've heard it said that if you were to take the Sodium out of pre-prepared/processed meals the tastiest part of the meal would be the container it came in
