Im also told that bent coppers that do time request to be sectioned away from the rest of the prisoners and that their application gets left in the 'In Tray' for a week or so, usually resulting in a few hidings before the application is approved. As much as the scum of society are dispised in prison, you can bet bent coppers/solicitors and judges must fall into that catagory as well

Yes I believe it is Rule 42 mate.

Yeah I agree and I don't feel sorry for them. They have caused pain, misery and suffering and it's their turn to get it back.

Obviously there will be the liberals who will say that taking someones liberty away is enough but it's a different world in there with different rules.

I certainly don't want to go in there again and it was a great wake up call for me.

I also believe Steves and your stories about Hindley and Sutcliffe. The screws aren't going to protect them. Just the opposite. They hate them as much as the rest and will turn a blind eye and make themselves scarce if asked to.

I can remember a "grass" getting his ear superglued to his head and for good measure he had his ear stapled to his bonce using an industrial staple gun.

Where did the glue and staple gun come from and how did they get it?

There's an obvious answer.

You are spot on with that.

However I think that bent coppers are some of the worse scum around as they are in a position of privilge, influence and trust and they have abused that position so fuck 'em.

At the same time anyone doing time for beating up a copper will be a hero inside.

Thanks for your remarks to me which I appreciate as I must admit I thought that I might get some stick from the other forumites about doing time.

That said I only have one criminal conviction and paid the ultimate price for it and that conviction was for selling porn in the pre R18 days.

It does piss me off a bit that stuff that now gets R18 certs like Dogging Diaries make my stuff look tame but I suppose censorship boundaries are being pushed to their limits all the time in both mainstream and porn and always will.

That said I knew what I was doing at the time was illegal and was prepared to take the risks for the financial gain. I also did it of my own free will so when you get caught you just have to hold your hands up and take it on the chin. It was my choice to do it, I wasn't coerced or forced into anything so you have to do the time if you get caught.

It certainly wasn't a nice experience in prison but then it's not meant to be and I definitely don't want to go in there again. That said it can make or break you as a person and I certainly came out of it a stronger and more humble person and my friends would tell you that I have come out of it a better person.

All sorts of people have done time in prison, from all walks of life. Many are still lauded today.

Famous people who have done time include:

Oscar Wilde
Stephen Fry (writer, comedian etc)
Tony Adams (footballer)
Nelson Mandela
Jeffrey Archer (although he is a cunt)
Robert Downey (actor)
Leslie Grantham (Dirty Den Eastenders)
Lord Charles Brocket (I'm a celebrity get me out of here)

You never know how good you've got it until its taken away

Be it your freedom,health,wealth,friends,family etc

Maybe if everyone spent a day in jail they'd be a less inclined to shoot of about sentences being too lenient and jail being like a 5 star hotel with room service

cheers
