If he had nothing to hide, he would have complied with Police requests and not run (re: the Downing Street geezer).

From a distance of 13,000 miles and a country with an estimated 20,000 Muslims, it's easy to be critical. We have 1.6 Million Muslims here, which as a percentage (2.67%) of the population is far too many. If the NZ government has any sense, and I'm sure they do, they'll halt immigration from places in SE Asia, like Fiji, Indonesia and Malaysia ... because it's all good and well being liberal and open minded now, but in 20 years time they'll have spawned a sub-culture with their own extremists and could well bring bombs to the streets of Auckland.
