I think alot of blokes sort of had a liking for him a while back.

He was a footballer, earned shedloads, got pissed up and bedded many gorgeous women.

Most blokes either wanted to be him or admired his rogue nature.

However for alot of blokes that has now gone me included. The woman bashing was the start but the fact that he got a liver transplant when someone more deserving should of and then proceeded to abuse that was the final straw for me.

Remember paying to watch him play in a charity match in the 70's, big crowd all to see him then he doesn't turn up. Read afterwards, he did that a lot, organisers probably knew if wouldn't be there but knew no-one would demand their money back so not a problem. Major talent but a weak man.

I think it's near the end - they can't find the source of internal bleeding - his father & sisters are over from Ireland. I still like George Best, he had problems, but so what.

Hope he pulls through-greatest player ever! pity he was taken advantage of by the two whores who,after all the shit they said of him,still scavenge on his name.Who would they have been without him -sad old unknowns.i mean Alex-who still calls herself best- is only living as she is because of him-in his house I've heard.Takes talent to make genius-and a whore to live off him!

I have absolutely zero sympathy at all. He drank himself to death, despite constant setbacks like liver failure etc.
