The problem with Dribble is that he won't recognise the facts if they conflict with his silly obsessional views.
Get a life and stop boring us with your tiresome reactionary twaddle.

Pipe down, mart, yer tosser. Since you are too frightened, lazy or stupid to air your own ideas or views and put them in the public arena for scrutiny and debate, you have little right to criticise anyone else who has got the balls and confidence in their position to do so. You're being a tosser again, which is a shame, since you'd managed to behave yourself for the past couple of weeks - although true to form you haven?t had anything very interesting to say.

"NEVER chase after a bloke in a 4X4 on your bike. simple maths tells you that you can NEVER win"

My handy bike computer tells me my average speed around town is 13mph - that's about 5mph faster than the average car in London. I often overtake 4x4s, Porsches, even Ferraris on my little pushbike, which seems to upset the drivers no end. The poor, traffic-trapped people tend to be exhibit symptoms of high stress, and whinge at cyclists because we're often the only people moving. Which is ironic, since we're not the cause of the traffic - they are.

From time to time I've been abused and threatened by car drivers, but the lardy cowards never want to leave the safety of their metal and glass boxes when challenged. Being in a big car gives blokes the illusion that they're big men, but the fact is that cyclists are fitter and stronger than motorists, and will win in a punch-up on most occasions.

Our consolation is that oil prices are rocketing ever upwards. Happy motoring!

"You experience a serene sense of wellbeing sat up there, looking down on all the boring people in their VW polo's and Honda Accords."

You've fallen for the ad-man's line that buying a cool, interesting car makes you into a cool, interesting person. Not so, I'm afraid.

Its not a matter of airing views. If you aren't prepared to accept research findings then its you who are the tosser.
On the assumption that you are ever ill, what do you say to your doctor about his/her diagnosis?
"Oh, you must be wrong because you're middle-class and went to University."

Ah, is this a belated (and I fear, feeble) attempt to justify yourself, mart? OK. So, where did I say I didn?t accept research findings? I do accept reach findings - I'm sure the glaciers are melting and it has something to do (in part) to the myriad SUV's on the planet. I accept all that. What I was saying was that I like driving SUV's, it's groovy. Consequently, I wish to continue to do so. I accept there are problems - I just don't accept the politically correct mob's dour solutions. I would attack the problem from a different angle - like, how can we continue to drive SUV's without producing too much carbon dioxide? There are ways, means and answers - they are just different answers to those expounded by the lentil munchers.
