Not sure if I count as a left-winger.

But I also hate this woman because of her stupid racism in reaction to a story about Finnish nurses being employed in the UK.

"We shouldn't employ these blue-eyed, blonde-haired foreigners - because they have never met a black person before." was the jist of her comment. Using racist stereotyping as a first resort - and actually a stereotype that displays ignorance as Finns tend to be a lot darker than Swedes and Norwegians - but, hey, you don't want to let the facts get in the way of a racist rant.

And nice to see a black woman making virtually the same ignorant "anti-white immigrants" comments as were made by so many ignorant white people in response to the black immigration of the previous generation.

And if a white person had said, "we don't want frizzy-haired black-skinned nurses from Africa working in our hospitals, some of them won't have treated white people before" - I imagine that Mrs Abbott might have made something of a strong response.

She's a typical rent-a-gob politician who's been shown to be a multiple hypocrite but who still tries to portray an air of moral superiority in all of her many self-publicising media comments.
