well one eyed jack .... I've now sold up and no longer a producer so now I'm a punter and can and will vent my frustration on badly produced porn .... yes i made HJ vids and listened to my customers and gave them what they wanted and I've already admitted that not all my vids where good, some where total crap.

Some constructive ideas

1 - How about using different lighting ... instead of trying to light up the whole room/set get a little creative and just light up the area where the action is going on and dim it down a little..... and use some daylight correction gel or different colored gels like reds, blue and greens this can make a huge change to the scene.

2 - Restrict the amount of extreme close ups

3 - Lets see much more of the girl, her face and her body

4 - No need to get the girl naked so quickly, Stocking, corsets etc can make a scene very sexy.

5 - As a man i don't really wanna see the guys face, or his hairy ugly arse

6 - Make a scene more like boyfriend/girlfriend sex ... this could be harder to achieve i admit but is possible.

Just a couple of ideas to start with.

Like you said we've been down this path before many times so does this not say something to you ... it say to me the customers are not that happy with the product there being sold.

I dont get models naked quick. I use a mixture of ambient and localised lighting as this doesnt make my scenes look like they are factory produced in a studio and dependent on the couple, I've had a variety of clothing that they feel comfortable in. Just take a look on the site for yourself.

And given what you are ranting about there are almost endless videos of this type around which brings me back to : What the hell are people moaning about?...But you reserve the right to moan just dont expect me not to zealously defend myself when rebuked. Remember that people complaining are good for the industry. It means the 'care' enough to moan about what they want. They could keep quiet and just buy US & Euro porn........where would that leave the British industry?

You're right in that there's lots of stuff to choose from, but the problem is inconsistency. I've seen a Relish movies that looked great with good camera angles, but watched one scene where they were performing on a wooden floor. All I heard all the way through the scene was the fucking floorboards creaking, which was something they could have avoided. the audio was crap. I've seen other British companies where the lighting is good, and then their next release was full of green & red hues from using the auto white balance whist filming under video 'and' fluorescent light. It's just careless, and something the yanks would have sorted out.

Self jerking is better than having the woman yanking away as if she's never held a cock in her life before. I've seen a lot of that over the years.

The ideal scenario is to get the guy to pull out just before he comes and blow his load wherever the scene requires it.

Self jerking is not a big problem for me as a viewer as long as it's quick. Some producers seem to have no idea about editing and will be wuite happy to show you some guy wanking himself to a standstill for the money shot.
