Another great DJ bites the dust!

I remember him sitting in for Nicky Horne on Capital Radio in the late '70s and towards the end of the show he said that the phone lines would open so that the audience could request records for the following week's show.

So I thought I'd give it a go, and was totally gobsmacked when he answered the phone! We had quite a chat about music

RIP Fluff

Something todays DJs could learn from, being nice and playing music, unlike twats like Moyles et al who love the sound of their own voice, are rude to people and play a fraction of music.
Moyles isn't alone, theres a few cunts like him

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

Chris Evans, an untalented, ginger C**T.
It really annoys me nowadays on Radio 2 pop pickers, at 5 pm, when that gobshite starts burbling. I just have to change the station otherwise I would smash my radio.

Freeman would play the record, with little or no talking over the top of it. Compare that with his contemporary Tony Blackburn, who felt his inane comments were much more important than whatever song was being played.

Steve Wright started the "studio filled with sycophants laughing at my every utterance" style with his "afternoon posse" when on Radio 1. Ginger wanker Evans followed suit, and Moyles does the same. That unfunny c*nt Russell Brand, who seems to see himself as comedian (no), presenter (hah!), and DJ is following the same route. Why have friends when you can hire people to laugh at your witty utterances?

The Tango Man has just announced that Radio 2 will be repeating an Alan Freeman Pick Of The Pops from 1998 next sunday afternoon
Definitely one to record, shame I can't put it staright onto cd!
Shame they can't repeat one of his dynamic 89/90 Radio1 FM shows, but it will still be good (they ought to just repeat Fluff shows all the time and sack the perma-tan..)
I wonder what years will be featured, you can bet yer life they won't be December 73 or 74!

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
