Well put Warren. The British maybe were insensitive and probably never discussed boundaries with the locals but you cannot blame the British solely for the Iraqi regime and current troubles.

I'd like to add that a lot of countries who saw Britain as a dominant empire were constantly putting pressure on our government to vacate the lands we controlled as quickly as possible. We pulled out of lots of countries way to fast without much planning.

Considering these points maybe we can blame the Americans, French and Ghandi for pressurising the British government to pull out? Didn't hear Ghandi laying out a 10 year plan to pull out and consider the locals when it came to drawing boundaries either. We pulled out and Africa, India, Persia, America, France and Ghandi got what they wanted.

It doesn't take much brainpower to just blame the British for Israel, Western Africa or Kashmir.

You seem to have made a mountain out of a molehill there Warren. Congratualtions.

A "joke" about stereotyping....sheesh. Do it on BGAFD and they tear you to shreds, do it on a C4 comdey show and they give you a BAFTA. I mean imagine that?

The only person with any beef about is......well you. What a surprise that was eh?

Please feed free to be a cock as it will surely provide you with the attention that you so crave.

All true. But don't you think the Iraqis should also be trying the Americans who goaded him into attacking Iran, supplied him chemical weapons, and backed him throughout the 1980s even when he was slaughtering Kurds?
