I can understand and accept 'reasonable force' but a grown man hitting a teenage girl as hard as he is capable of, not once but three times, is disgusting.

When sparring I used to hate being put in the ring with women. You don't know where you can hit them or how hard. It's uncomfortable and goes against everything you were taught as a child.

Slightly off topic I know but I can understand how uncomfortable the cops must have felt.

I think the point everyone has missed is that had the copper hit her in the face five times, it's gonna be a mess as anyone who has been his in the face will tell you - I don't recall that it was.

No - the tape is (unless it's been faked). Like I said, I'm old enough to remember the Rodney King thing and heard exactly the same bollocks - 10 cops needed to club a lone man, course they did. And in this case, 4 cops needed to violently restrain a 5'6" 19 year old girl. That's a perfectly proportionate response.

I know people who have been assaulted without provocation by the police, hence I'm pleased when one appears on camera.

You clearly haven't read the reports. The police statement was a lie - it doesn't match the CCTV. He accused her of struggling when she was already having an epileptic fit.
