Now............if the person who walked down the steps to hand this guy his diploma had falled and broken his/her leg, could that person have sued the guy in the wheelchair?
!laugh!
They should have made it possible for the guy to collect his diploma in all honesty, but there's no common sense anymore. ?4000 doesn't make feelings go away. What ever happened to just saying sorry?

They shouldn't get any compensation.
If they start giving compensation for this, then everyone can start making claims. For example look at India, they were called the 'Golden bird of Asia' (due to their vast riches) before the British Raj plundered all their fortunes (The Queen still holds many jewels and riches including The Kohinoor) So does that mean all the people that got rich off India should compensate?
If they get compensation should Black athletes/sportstars give money back to whoever owned their ancestors? Reason I say this is because during slave trade, masters would pick the two healthiest, strongest etc slaves and breed them so that their offspring would be superslaves of such. So most millionaire black boxers/basketball players/athletes are a result of this.
Everythings too PC nowadays, everyone walking on eggshells trying not to offend. You get these MP's who would never get on telly and don't serve any purpose jumping on the bandwagon to get some air time. It's in the past, let it stay their. People claiming compensation are just too lazy to do it the hard way!

"a guy in a wheelchair was unable to collect his diploma like everybody else by climbing up the stairs so they bought it down to him- he has now sued and won 4 thousand pounds for damage to his feelings"
I'm so fucking upset and affronted by all this PC bollocks that I think I'll sue. It will probably take a ?5,000,000 quid cheque to quell my anger and sweeten me up.
I don't blame the wheelchair geezer or his solicitors for trying it on - it's the fucking loony PC bastards who are to blame. And remember, that 4k he got won't be coming out of their poncy public sector pockets - it will be coming out of your taxpaying pockets. Angry? You should be.

I think I'll sue the British Government too because of what they did to the Irish. My father's side of the family are Irish although my mother's is English
By the way, that was 2 generations ago and I've never been there but what do you think? Reckon I've got a chance?

I say bollocks. The Irish have never done anything for us. (2 world wars anyone?) All they've given us is Bono & Geldoff, who come here to make themselves millionaires from UK citizens, then tell us what to do with our money.
Then we have Boyzone and Westlife...................fuck that, the Brits should be seeking compensation from the Irish if anything.
