Mike said it was his opinion, and if he said Roxanne was bad any reasonable person would think, "Ah, that's his opinion," and move on.

It would be a boring old world if we all liked the same things, or if one person's likes and dislikes were the benchmark. Tastes vary, opinions vary.

In my opinion, speaking for myself and unqualified to voice the common opinion of anyone else, some of the stuff recorded by The Police was quite dull, and some of it was really good. If they wish to reform, and tour, and make some money, and people are willing to pay to see them, then good on them. They won't expect the music world to get excited at the prospect, but if they can make some fans happy then why shoudln't they.

It was in the hope that perhaps you might abandon this pedantry.
