Roy an OPS officer met me in the Soho pub and said to me:"Mike, you know the Krays and I want you to go and warn them that next time they go to court, and they are going to be nicked again, believe me the order has come from above, and there is no escape unless they leave the country."
I did know Ronnie and Reggie Kray, that was true.
I knew that the Twins were totally insane and living in a world of fantasy that they were going to become Mafia. They went off to New York to see the Families and put forward their plan of a Mafia take over of Soho. With this in mind they started to kill people and implement them into roadworks, encased in concrete or burying them at sea with a concrete overcoat, Ronnie muttering "you sleep with the fishes you fucking grass."
Should I go and warn them? The truth was I was afraid of the Twins, like all entrepreneurs in Soho because they were parasites. Was I going to go around their flat where a python called Nipper was waiting? No I did not go because they would have killed me; and may they rest in hell where they belong.
