Sayle, Henry and...Bernard Manning on the same OTT edition has gone down in TV folklore.

Manning did- live, don't forget- his full act. No holds barred.

Whilst Sayle and Henry wandered round the set with their heads in their hands....

John Gorman is retired- he's 71!- and was a TV director at LWT- Blind Date and Surprise Surprise to name but two.

He then popped up running a theatre in Shropshire.

Rik solo- fuck off.

Ade- a very underrated comedian/actor/writer/director. Now in Holby City; directed some Pogues videos; and appeared with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band last year as guest vocalist- teaching himself trumpet as the tour progressed!

After the Scaffold broke up, Gorman and Roger McGough teamed up with two ex-Bonzos- Innes and Stanshall- and formed the GRIMMS... which carried on from where the other two bands had left off.

Yes Mr Jolly probably was the best. Must have seen Bad News a bit like
spinal tap? That is a very clever line I must admit

Saw Ade in an old Jonathan Creek episode the other night and
his acting was not bad

If you see Rik and Ade in their stage show you would appreciate
how good they are with their timing with stunts and ad libs

Apparently the B'Stard live show is quite good. Lysette Anthony plays Alan
B'Stards wife in this stage version and tells of a recent show where an
audience member near the front kept laughing at different times to everybody else

After about the 3rd or 4th time Mayall tells them all to keep enjoying
themselves - but can the cunt in the third row shut up

To which she says Alan don't call him that as a cunt can be quite useful
