I think Internet sales are having an effect on the whole UK adult movie scene. Many traditional adult movie vendors (including shops) are finding it hard work nowadays and rising Internet sales are just one of the reasons. This may push prices down, indeed this is already happening, but it is not necessarily a good thing, even for the consumer. As Wesses.tv pointed out it's hardly worth bothering to produce adult content nowadays, as it's hard work trying to move it. Particularly in the UK, where there are minimal outlets and limited demand.

No, cheaper prices at the shops would not mean a stampede of new customers to buy shag films. There would just be the same customers as before, paying less.
