Wazzer it's hypocritical of me to say this, but of all the acts that were appearing, those were the acts I watched.
Apart from Beth Ditto who has a brilliant voice, I really enjoyed her performance, especially the part where she attempted to body-surf the crowd. The boys at the front looked very apprehensive when she tried it.
The bouncers had a bit of a job getting her back over the fence.
The thing that bugs me is the whole middle class thing, you definately don't get a good cross section of people at Glastonbury unlike other festivals.

John Fogerty - some fool who needs to go back home and live on those royalties from Status Quo or refrom CCR for one last money grab.
The Who - Two more old farts who should have the decency to have put this band down when Keith Moon died and save us the 'joy' of those two albums with Kenney Jones.
Chemical Bros. - I could go to a club and watch a DJ. I ain't gonna spend ?140 and be up to my neck in mud. That people actually watch DJ's live amuses me.
Tinariwen - Who cares about some illegal immigrants from Africa frankly?

Four bands of god knows how many that aren't indie crap. You've tempted me now! lol
