Hi Red, good rant on the flood thing, saying "fuck her" was just plain out of order, Keith unfortunately has a problem with things and people, take both those elements away and he's still, well!... ...a cunt! I,m pleased you didn,t ignore him, we all try to get along, but sometimes you come up against an unmovable force a.k.a Kieth, please allow for the fact he has no teeth, and is posting from a nursing home in Essex. Sometimes it's hard to seperate humour from reality, and as keith lacks the former it's atough gig.

Lizard is right, Red. Some people who post here tend to become abusive when anyone dares to question their words of "wisdom." They lack manners, humour, and basic knowledge of social niceties. My new view on the subject is that if it smells like a troll and acts like a troll, then it is a troll, and responding just feeds it.

Okay, some of us can also be abusive, but we tend to temper that with some humour (Liz is a fine example of someone who uses humour to defuse raging rows).

Do not feel intimidated here. This is your site as much as it belongs to anyone. If someone is rude or abusive, chances are the mods will sort them out. But don't give the bullies a victory by letting them annoy you. They are like spoilt kids, and ignoring them hurts more than anything.

I made the mistake recently of trying to reason with one of them. The result was smoke pouring from my ears. Their minds are closed, and don't listen.

By the way, when the revolution comes, and the O/T Forum takes power, you can expect the environment portfolio (it will involve dealing with the Tea and Water Buffalo Minister, Lizard, but that can't be helped).
