Tequila,

I know that the "occasional spliff", or preferably the pure herb, and a couple of glasses of wine does not harm the foetus because alcohol is a natural substance occurring in the body by fermentation anyway and that there are cannabis receptors in the brain. You are right that you will have a perfectly healthy baby but what I am talking about is huge quantities of these substances.

However a word of warning: if you are truthful and admit that you smoke cannabis during pregnancy to the NHS your baby will be taken away fom you at birth for tests.

Yours Truly,
Mike Freeman.

Thats complete rubbish! I gave birth at 12 midday and my baby was with me until i left hospital at 12 the next day. All of the normal tests were run and yes, they did test my babys urine for cannabis but as i hadnt smoked any for a few months before i had his they didnt find any.

Tequila,
I was given this information by a midwife and did not take any chances by being truthful. I did not know that they did urine tests for cannabis.
