landed at Roswell, and his alien-visa had expired and so he had to return
to Betelgeuse V where he is being forced, at octopus-point, to play for a
Sunday League team with seven wingers, no full-backs [unless you count
the small pink rock near the corner-flag] and a one-eyed crocodile for a
goalie.
Wenger is actually from the Slightly Insubstantial Seas on Delta Orionis IV
and over 2000 years old, and aside from also having been the gunman on
the grassy knoll ["I did nurt see zer Prezeedong, zer wuz ner fowel play"]
was single-handedly responsible for the inception of several major wars,
the founding of Roman Catholicism and the 1922 Committee, and the
invention of Sticky Toffee Pudding.
