Re: Question for the models who use the forum

Post by magoo »

When I saw the original post in this thread last night (friday) I thought "Oh, oh. This is bound to lead to an arguement and cause bad feeling". I am sure that was not what Richie Rich intended but some of the replies were bound to cause friction. So I wonder what the whole point of the post was. Its making a big issue out of something that very rarely happens.

First of all I think the whole issue is a red herring. I have been posting here for a long time and its very rare that anyone is abusive about a model. On about two occassions in the last 12 months a troll has made nasty posts. These were promptly deleted and the trolls got bored and went away. Yes there have been incidents where people have upset a particular model through being thoughtless or insensitive. But these too are very rare.

I am puzzled by Dibbles comment about intellectual intimidation. Does this mean bright people should not post incase it puts off the less intellegent posters? I have no snobbishness in my body and will respect people regardless of their intellegence. I have had the piss ripped out of me over my poor spelling but it doesnt put me off posting.

And as for Carls comments about forum bullies. What a pile of crap.

I must sa Wendy is a clever person. I have known that for ages. But that does not mean girls who are less bright will be frightened to post. Its all a load of nonesense.

We should also remember that all of these models have busy lives and unlike the majority of us blokes their lives do not revolve around the internet. Perhaps the girls have better things to do with their time than answer questions from porn anoraks like us!

Oh, for Christ sake Dirk. If you disagree just say why. Like, "I disagree that there's any substance at all behind stereotypes, because...?

If you cannot say why it just appears that you are uncomfortable with the idea (maybe through political, or social indoctrination) but you do not have a logical, or rational argument to put forward to prove your point. Anyone can cop out and simply say "Oh well, no point in arguing with him."

Not suggesting that anyone should refrain from posting (well, not in this thread anyway) certainly not the "intelligent" posters as I relish getting my teeth into their occasionally interesting posts. But I stand by my assertion that a lot of lurkers of whatever status and gender do not post because they feel intimidated. Even now when I post I'm always just that little edgy that may someone will shoot me down in flames and come out with something that I have no answer to. If the timid feel that they don't have the weapons to compete they are not going to enter the arena and risk loosing face. I'm not saying it is positive or negative, I'm just stating my opinion on why some folks don't post.

...and "no smoke without fire" is merely poor observation.
Have you never seen anything smoulder?

Refraining from banging one's head against a brick wall is not copping-put: it's self-preservation.

Well, if they don't post, i suppose we can only speculate.
Endlessly. Or not.......

As all arguments have two sides all the above comments as too reasons why models especially and lurkers don't post are relevant. The beauty of the internet is that everybody starts of equal as opposed to real life.To succeed you must fail first.
So post without fear.

Just remember NOTHING is ever black & white due to the different perceptions of the individual.

If you want more models posting then ask about specific/programs vids and name the models-pay compliments, ask questions etc.

cheers

Look Dibble. Your an articulate guy and your posts are always worth reading. You say people may be afraid to post incase they get "shot down in flames". Thats life! I get shot down in flames every day in my job. If people are too weak to take criticism then they should become hermits and live in a cotton wool lined cave in Tibet. There would be no chance of any debate if we were all worried about upsetting people. This has really got me angry.

In a nutshell. If people are to scared to post then whatever they have to say will be crap. Soft shites that they are. I have to stand up and be critisised in public as part of my job so I have no sympathy for twats who are afraid of a bit of cyber banter.

A messenger has just brought me your comments by yak-post to my nice comfy cave 35 miles north of Lhasa.
You're a big bully, and will have accumulated much bad Karma because of this, and will almost certainly be condemned to return in your next life as a small boll-weevil.
But I won't be allowed to stamp on you because I'm a Buddhist, of course.
Am off to join the Presbyterians: they're allowed to kill things, aren't they?
