Roeves was last seen up here in some soap, River City. Once saw him on stage, as Iago in Othello. Bloody good actor.

Tutti Fruitti was never released on video either, and it was brilliant. Proved that comedians Coltrane and Thompson could act, made a star of Richard Wilson, and a cult heroine out of Ms Murphy.

The other highlight of her career was Taking Over The Asylum, with Ken Stott, Angus (Robert Bruce) Macfadyen and a very young David Tennant. Another one conspicuous by its absence on DVD/video as far as I know.

Her mum, Phyllida Law, is a Scot; and dad was Eric of Magic Roundabout fame.

Mary Whitehouse experience was indeed very good
Also if you have Virgin cable you can see the Absolutely shows
right from the start in the on demand section

Did anyone see Saxondale series? Thought Morwenna Banks also
played a good part in that as well

Still with comedy has anybody here seen the visit or star stories?
Think these are 2 of the better comedy progs. at the moment

Star stories on Channel 4 Friday night

They take the piss out of so called stars

First series included Guy Ritchie and Sadie Frost
First two shows this time have been about Take that & Tom Cruise

They tell that celebs tale from their own totally non biased
view on their life story. Of course everything gets exaggerated
to send up the star in question

Bit of running gag is Kate Moss very high getting out of a car
with knickers round her ankles and offering a shag to
anybody who wants one. Also lay into Liam and Noel a few times as well

Try and catch this week's episode

Yes I did. Not one of Coogan's better efforts!
