do ineed to go to tools options security settings and tick or untick what warning messages i want to recieve
maybe you could let us know which warnings youve got ticked to recieve sam
sorry im a pc virgin sam so bit of a worrier cheers

I'm using BT. Although sometimes I have used IE7 when there has been a problem with BT. Firefox is okay, although I find the text on pages a bit weedy and thin.

You can use it but you lose the real time anti-phishing protection that norton offers

Its a catch 22 as the IE vs Firefox debates show all to well

dated 12/2006 but still relevant

Bottom line is that there is no one program that makes everything safe
which is why sites like this recommend using multiple programs for protection


You can test your systems defenses here with shields up or the leak test
and rad all about the other vulnerabilities of Windows at the same time



In the end you need to decide what your trying to achieve
