You should be able to take this one through the UK Courts without the hassle of Strasbourg. The European Declaration Of Human Rights is now enshrined into UK law since last years Human Rights Act. I would imagine these cases go straight through to the High Court, the Football League got an 'urgent' hearing agisnst ITVDigital for what will be just over 2 months, so I would expect at least a six month wait!

Unfortunately the restraint of trade aspects of the Treaty of Rome only apply to transactions between different states. Thats why you can ship the stuff to say France or Germany direct from the UK without any problems. Human Rights Act is probably the way to go, probably based on the difficulty accessing licensed sex shops (once again down to anal licensing restrictions)interfering with the right of free speech in relation to material that has not been deemed to deprave or corrupt. In my opinon providing everything is done by card it's actually safer than cash in cash in shops in terms of protecting minors.
