ah yes, Rhyl....................
My brother and I were packed off every year to my grand parents in Rhyl....and dumped outside every morning to fend for ourselves (aged 9 and 7) The amusement arcade was first up and 10 minutes later we were skint.
My grand parents didn't want us there, I sensed that.
My brother and I got beaten up as we were 'English'
About 6 years ago, I visited the god forsaken place, full of Scouse DSS scroungers and signs warning that hyperdermic needles were left on the beach.

Agree..all the places above are real shit holes.....i wonder why people live in 'em?...you're a long time dead and to waste your life in those dumps..please..evn if I was poor I would move away and take my family with me.However many people love them..probably the twat who I saw open the window of his car and dump all his mcdonalds wrappers on the floor at toys r us last weekend....never forget decent people...... that there is a huge underclass in this country..the skill is avoiding 'em.....

Any Asda or B&Q car park after 7pm irrespective of town or county.
Boy racers paradise .... personally I'd mount a few armour piercing artillary
weapons on the roofs of these stores and let the TA get in some much needed practice.

I'm told Rhyl is a classic example of the on-going economic recession that affects much of our coastal resorts, apparently. You read little about it, but there's probably dozens you could name in an equally decrepit state. Various factors play a part I suppose - weather, cheaper going abroad now, keeping up with the Jones's etc. All rather sad, frankly.
It is a shithole, mind.
