One of my cousins and his family are JW's.
I must admit to using this very reason to get rid of JW's when they come to my door spouting their religion, I explain that having children myself I can not sit idly by and watch one of them die and not do anything to save them, ie. give them some blood, whether be via a donor or my own blood and can not agree with any religion that would rather see a child/relative die in a needless manner, they can never give me a straight answer and many of them don't really understand why this is so, not once has any JW given me a reason to invite them into my home!!
