I just did my first bit of Boxing Day shopping online at Debenhams, 8 quality (well I live in hope) tops for ?100 delivered to my door by Santas little helper (aka a lumbering DHL brute). Next stop is JJB Sports for some polo/t-shirts and trackie bottoms on Friday and a new Snooker cue. That will leave me with trying to find something to buy with my vouchers in Burtons and Argos which will be a right fiendish job ...

The ordinary working donkey that slaves away in retail & hopsitality gets flogged to death during december

I know from anecdotal stories from various people who work in both industries.

Anyone working for the emergency gets time off in lieu of working ridiculously long hours although the exception to the rule seems to be public hospital interns...how they survive their hours is a beyond me

Result..just bought five sofas that will be twice as much after the sale.It says so on a ticket. So I'm saving about ?2500...I dont like the colour much though..or the material, and the design is shit..and they could be a bit bigger and I've got nowhere to put them...but a sale is a sale after all..

So perhaps it's better to actually visit the shops to look for sale bargins?
